Designed specifically for Florida's chloramine-heavy municipal water. Puronics® Chlorostatic® systems use ChloroShield™ Clearess® media to remove chlorine and chloramine at every tap — not just drinking water — while simultaneously softening your water and protecting every pipe, appliance, and fixture in your home.
Puronics® SilverShield® Protection is adapted from NASA's silver ion technology developed to purify water aboard Space Shuttle Orbiters. Microscopic silver particles embedded in the HYgene® filter media actively inhibit bacteria growth inside the system — providing an additional layer of biological protection that standard softeners simply cannot offer.
Florida's water is among the hardest in the country — often 20–30+ grains per gallon. Puronics® base softeners use high-capacity S-759 monospheric resin to eliminate hardness minerals and iron at the point of entry, protecting every pipe, appliance, and fixture throughout your entire home. The iGen® valve ensures every regeneration cycle uses minimum salt and water.
Every Puronics® bacteriostatic system incorporates SilverShield® HYgene® technology — adapted from NASA's silver ion water purification system developed for Space Shuttle Orbiters. This isn't marketing language. It's validated engineering deployed in some of the most demanding water quality environments on earth.
For homeowners who want cleaner, higher-quality water without salt, potassium, or chemicals — Puronics® Clarius™ and Goodspring™ lines use green technology to deliver whole-house filtration that protects your health, your plumbing, and the environment. These systems are especially well-suited for salt-restricted diets, environmentally sensitive areas, and homes that simply want a chemical-free approach.
Most Central Florida homes have water problems they don't know about. A 10-minute free test tells you exactly what you're dealing with — and it costs you nothing.
Florida's Floridan Aquifer delivers water that challenges even the best standard softeners — high iron, hydrogen sulfide (that rotten egg smell), acidic pH, and sediment. These systems are engineered and customizable for the specific water chemistry of your home. If you've been told your water is "just too bad to treat" — it isn't. We've fixed worse.
For well water homes battling iron, sulfur, bacteria, or e-coli — chlorine injection is the proven, gold-standard solution. We source and install the industry's most trusted components, configured specifically for your well's flow rate and water chemistry. These are not Puronics® products — they are professional-grade well water treatment components installed by CFL's certified technicians.
The engine of your chlorine injection system. This LMI Uni-Dose® diaphragm metering pump injects precise, adjustable doses of chlorine bleach, rust inhibitors, or other treatment chemicals directly into your well water line. Output is fully adjustable from 1–24 GPD via a single front dial — no guesswork, no tools. FastPrime™ valve enables fast startup. NEMA 4X/IP65-rated housing handles indoor and outdoor installation in Florida's climate. Activates in sync with your well pump so chlorine only enters the line when water is flowing.
Your chlorine supply reservoir, built for demanding chemical environments. This heavy-duty polyethylene tank holds your pre-mixed chlorine solution, which the Uni-Dose® pump draws from continuously. At 18" diameter and up to 40" tall, it stores enough solution for weeks of treatment between refills. Compatible with chlorine bleach, soda ash, and hydrogen peroxide. FDA-compliant materials rated for indoor and outdoor use. Resistant to UV, impact, and chemical degradation.
The fail-safe that prevents chemical overdose. This flow switch monitors your water line and signals the Uni-Dose® pump to inject only when water is actively flowing — stopping the moment flow stops. Essential when the pump must be installed after the pressure tank, or when your well uses a constant-pressure or variable-speed pump. Without a flow switch in these configurations, chlorine can be injected into standing water, causing dangerous over-concentration. 1" PVC slip fittings, rated to 60 PSI and 110°F continuous operation.
Manufactured by Clack Corporation — the name behind the valve technology in premium water softeners worldwide. This 120-gallon fiberglass retention tank (RT120 / C2252) is the contact chamber where chlorine does its work. Water dwells here long enough to fully oxidize dissolved iron, manganese, and sulfur, and kill harmful bacteria including e-coli and coliform. One RT120 per 6 GPM of flow. Gray fiberglass shell with epoxy resin, black one-piece polyethylene inner liner, baffle diffuser for thorough mixing, full 1" blow-down drain, 75 PSI max operating pressure. 5-year limited warranty. Ships freight.
The final line of defense before treated water enters your home. After chlorine has oxidized iron and sulfur in the retention tank, the resulting particles must be captured — that's exactly what this large-format housing does. The oversized 4.5" × 10" cartridge handles 5–15 GPM without pressure drop. 1" NPT brass ports, reinforced polypropylene housing, double O-ring seal, and a built-in pressure relief button for easy cartridge swaps. Wall-mount bracket and housing wrench included. Best suited for smaller homes or lower-sediment applications.
The recommended choice for most Central Florida well water homes. Same heavy-duty housing as the 10" — but double the cartridge length means double the filter surface area, significantly longer service life between changes, higher sustained flow capacity, and better protection for your softener and downstream equipment. If your home runs multiple bathrooms, has a higher sediment load, or you want to minimize maintenance intervals, the 20" is the right call. Fits all standard 4.5" × 20" replacement cartridges. 1" NPT brass ports, pressure relief button, wall-mount bracket, and housing wrench included.
Whole-house filtration handles hardness and chlorine. Reverse osmosis eliminates everything else — PFAS, arsenic, radium, nitrates, pharmaceuticals, and hundreds of other contaminants — at the point of use. Puronics® RO systems deliver pharmaceutical-grade drinking water directly from your kitchen tap, eliminating the need for bottled water permanently.
